Dr. Sam Hallows, DC

While in Hawaii, I had been walking more than ever before and I was in a great deal of pain. Dr. Kimura invited me to his office for care for an aching back and my feet, which had been paralyzed when I was 6 years old. The doctor expressed confidence in his abilities to help my body. I was a bit uncertain and skeptical but he was so confident that I thought I would give it a chance. I still couldn’t move my feet after a couple visits, but I was introduced to something more important, 33 Principles of Chiropractic. From them I learned that my body has inborn intelligence and that, though I have some physical limitations, I still have much potential. After learning these concepts, I knew that by becoming a chiropractor I could serve mankind by removing interference to our body’s expression.

Dr. Jeff Robinson, DC

As a lifelong athlete, I had always taken the health and wellness of my body for granted. It wasn’t until I was in college and in so much back pain that I realized what a wonderful blessing the working body is. I attended Brigham Young University on a volleyball scholarship, and during my senior year we had an early morning practice where I swung at a ball and knew something was terribly wrong in my mid back. I couldn’t breath normally and had to hunch over while walking. I had a big match that night and was desperate to find out what was wrong with me. I turned to a local chiropractor and that afternoon I went in for my first visit. I left his office walking tall- my back was relieved of the pressure and pain and that night I had the match of my life that night!

Gary, LMT profile

Gary Rowden, Structural Integrator & Massage Therapist

My path to becoming a Massage Therapist and Structural Integrator was a long traveled road. At 25 (1990) I had a back injury during a hiking trip on the Pacific Crest Trail in Oregon. It was pain like I’ve never felt before. Like knives jabbing me in my hip bones and searing sharp electrical pains moving down my legs which also made my feet feel tingly and numb. The only choice it seemed doctors were giving me was pain pills and surgery, but I wanted no part of that. Being as stubborn as I was back then, I decided to bite the bullet and laid on my stepfather’s floor for about a month or so writhing and sobbing in horrible pain. There were no more tears left.
